PRIMARY PURPOSE:The primary purpose of Mechanical Design Engineer is to utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to produce accurate and detailed design drawings for mechanical systems. This role involves conducting air conditioning cooling load calculations using industry-standard computer software to determine cooling requirements and designing fire sprinkler systems, including layout, sizing, and coordination with other building systems. Additionally, the position entails designing HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and government buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into overall building designs is essential. This includes understanding building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.•Experience in designing plumbing systems for commercial and government buildings is necessary.
