Description:
The first task that this Marketing Assistant will be responsible for taking over iscoordinating email marketing campaignsfor our clients.
This will involve interfacing with many different parts of our company and managing and overseeing several things at once, so organizational skills are very important. Specifically, this will require the Marketing Assistant to:
Work alongside each client’s designated account manager to understand the content and/or design requirements for each email blast.
Once the requirements are understood, the Marketing Assistant will need to turn these requirements into a brief. An example of one of these briefs is shown below.
Once the brief is prepared, the Marketing Assistant will need to share it with any relevant freelancers (graphic designers or content writers, depending on the requirements for a given email blast) and ensure that they complete their portion of the work on time, without mistakes, and with high quality.
Once the freelancers complete their work, the Marketing Assistant will use that work as inputs to create an email blast in MailChimp that meets the requirements as originally described by the client’s account manager.
When the email blast is ready, the Marketing Assistant will generate a preview and share it with the account manager. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for implementing any changes or feedback as directed by the account manager.
Once a preview is approved, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for scheduling the email blast in Mailchimp and ensuring that it is delivered to the correct subscriber list at the correct time.
