Manager, Payroll

Mandaluyong, PH, 1555 Description: Responsibilities: Manage the payroll team; supervise and assign tasks to assistants
Keep detailed records for taxes and audits
Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting
Ensure the company complies with all additional legal and regulatory requirements regarding payroll processes
Review and improve payroll policies and procedures
Oversee the maintenance of systems and all upgrade testing
Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements
Support all internal and external audits related to payroll
Process payroll checks for executive staff
Interpret new legislation impacting payroll
Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll production
Manage and develop payroll staff
Strict adherence to internal company policies
Ensures payroll operations are carried out in an efficient, effective, accurate and expedient manner.
Leads the continued implementation of the SAP payroll system as required.
Works internally with the Finance and Human Resources departments to address matters relating to payroll.
Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records
Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes.
Maintains knowledge of and ensures compliance with all legal, federal and state requirements and government reporting regulations affecting payroll, tax and garnishments.
Ensures all year-end processes are handled in a timely and proper manner.
Manage payment calendars for the fiscal year
Report to management on payroll issues and changes
