Logistics Account Executive

The essential job duties and responsibilities:? Source and procure vendor services through tactful and intelligent negotiation (of rates andservices) on a spot, transactional, or contract basis while meeting individual, team, and companyperformance goals? Prospect and cultivate new customer relationships? Manage customer accounts to help? Manage multiple pick-ups and deliveries via telephone, email, and text? Ensure timely pickup, status monitoring, and timely delivery? Coordinate and assist the pickup and delivery process to sure optimal efficiency? Track and update shipment status to customers on a regular basis? Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers? Other duties as assignedQualifications:? Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with strong desire to learn and work in a fast-paced,energetic environment? Driven and competitive nature with strong problem-solving abilities, quickly processinginformation and making decisions? Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently? Strong organizational skills? Excellent and effective communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written)? Proficiency in using Microsoft Office? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience? Sales, negotiation, communication or customer service experience preferred? Strong Working knowledge of geography (particularly North America)?
