Legal Manager

**ABOUT THE POSITION**:The role will oversee a broad range of general corporate matters, contract review and negotiation, dispute resolution, document management and other legal activities with accountability for meeting timelines, budgets and project objectives.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Assist the business teams in relation to the review and negotiation of legal contracts, from EPC and O&M contracts to JV agreements and debt financings;- Provide strategic advice on key legal issues for Vena Energy's business in the Philippines;- Provide assistance and advice in any potential or on-going claims, disputes and investigations;- Analyze and advise management on legal contracts, complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, and financial instruments;- Advise on legal and regulatory compliance, including renewable energy sector specific regulations and anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws;- Advise on general corporate matters and day to day activities of the group such as commercial contracts, office leases, employment matters etc;- Review, standardization and maintenance of legal document templates;- Conduct legal research where necessary;- As may be needed, opportunities to work on regional APAC matters in Vena Energy's other countries; and- Any other task assigned by country business teams or Senior Manager- Legal.**EDUCATION**:- Bachelors of Laws graduate- Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines**Experience**:- At least 5 years experience in law firm with litigation and corporate experience- Must have Renewable Energy experience**SKILLS**:
