Job Description This position enhances attorney effectiveness by developing case information, evidence, and settlement options tracking cases supporting attorney's trial proceedings.
. Schedule and coordinate legal activities relating to claims, litigation and insurance matters
. Research and analysis of law, preparation of briefs, and assist with strategy development
. Draft original documents for negotiations of moderate complexity
. Develop standard documents
. Review joint venture and partnership documents, secrecy and licensing agreements, contracts, and other corporate documents
. Act as a company representative when requested
. Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements . Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and one (1) year of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years if non-degreed some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
. Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications . Experience working in either private practice or corporate or government environment
. Applicable license(s) and registration(s) in area of specialty or discipline
. Outstanding project management, organizational, and critical thinking skills
. Excellent communication and writing skills
. Highly organized, detail oriented, with strong ability to prioritize
. Demonstrated experience in a broad range of substantive legal and business areas
. Flexibility, versatility and ability to deal with multiple issues, priorities, and personnel is expected and required
. Capacity to collaborate with others and outstanding time-management abilities are essential.
. Demonstrated ability to work with outside counsel and deal with internal clients at many different levels within an organization
.
