Responsible for the day to day coordination and monitoring of the group of companies' legal concerns and initiatives as received or assigned by the Legal Affairs Head.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing accurate and consistent research and statistical reports by utilizing online resources and law library materials and identifying/locating valid legal references. Prepares and/or revises basic legal documents under the supervision of officer-in-charge or an attorney.
2. Acts as liaison between attorneys and employees/customers. Responds to telephone and in-person confidential legal inquiries.
3. Prioritizes requests stemming from due diligence, audits, subpoenas, litigation discovery, and drafts written responses [email or letter] using information provided by officer-in-charge or an attorney.
4. Prepares and coordinates timely and accurate regulatory filings. Maintains legal files and security of confidential information.
5. Composes professional correspondence, memos, and reports. Proofreads and corrects prepared materials for correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, syntax, and content.
6. Coordinates and tracks work flows, schedules, projects, and decisions to ensure paperwork is complete and appropriate and any necessary follow-up activities are completed in a timely fashion. Provides research and administrative support for special projects.
7. Responsible for the monitoring of potential cases that may require legal relief like overdue collections, violations of the Code of Discipline and other similar cases.
8. Proposes recommendations based on legal audit for review of the head of legal.
Qualifications:
1. Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Legal Management or equivalent
2. Must have at least one (1) year working experience in related field
3. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Must be able to deal with people from different background and rank
5. Must have a high level of integrity especially in handling confidential data and information
