We are building an innovative, highly visible, low cost logistics network. Our operating model is based on an ecosystem of logistics partners stitched together with state of the art technology and our modular infrastructureLeL is the Logistics arm of the Lazada Group and is structured around four operating Business UnitsExpress: own B2C last mile delivery capabilities from pick-up to sort to deliveryTransport: Management of our ecosystem of partners (3PLs) along all the transportation componentsFulfilment: Operation of a network of warehouses that can fill retail orders on our own behalf, as well as providing fulfilment services to merchants and international brandsCrossborder: Build-up & management of international logistics network giving seamlessly access to ASEANThe roleEstablish a clear procurement plan ensuring that requests are managed effectively ensuring sufficient time is provided to complete all necessary processes.Delegate to individuals within the team quotes to obtain, including on the weekly task plan.Ensure all procurement requests are completed correctly and the duties of collecting quotations is segregated amongst the team to prevent conflict of interest.Oversee the procurement analysis of all supplies/services ensuring detailed procedure and selection process is clearly outlined within the analysis section.Manage the delivery of goods/services to 3PLs ensuring all items are correctly accounted for by the team.Ensure all procurement follows the organisational procurement procedures and all orders are made correctly with the right authorisationProvide agenda, organise for all procurement committee meetings with suppliers, detailing minutes of committee meetingsSupport team members to present suppliers with procurement committee meetings. Ensure clear documentation for supplier selection is obtained for auditing purposes.Ensure the Conflict of Interest Policy is upheld throughout all processes of procurementReport to manager any concerns regarding procurement processes.Manage the Approved Supplier List. Ensure all suppliers uphold the terms and conditions of the agreement and in need of sourcing or changing current agreements organise procurement committee to facilitate any necessary additions and changes.Conduct price checks on all procurement conducted and manage the team to negotiate strong value for money.
Job requirements
Qualifications and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Transportation.Preferably with 4-8 years’ Experience in Transportation & procurement2 or 3 years in team management is preferable.Strong data analysis skills and knowledge of Microsoft ExcelHighly energetic and self-motivatedResults driven-focus on operations & scaleDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize those tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills
