Land Appraiser

POSITION PURPOSE To examine key characteristics of a property, researching the property market in the local area, staying up-to-date with best practices and regulations, and producing written reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Conducts site inspection/appraisal of projects and prepares reports
Conducts validation/verification of mortgage collateral titles with different registry of deeds
Inspects and monitors physical development and construction of the project
Calculate estimates of the value of property for sales, mortgages, and loans.
Create written reports detailing estimation process and results.
Conduct inspections of properties to identify factors which could influence property value.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Must be a LICENSED APPRAISER
A graduate of Engineering (Civil) or Property Development/Real Estate Management
EXPERIENCE:
Should have at least 3 years of experience in the related field
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Construction terminologies, quantity take-off process, contracts and conditions of projects for bidding
Site inspection, project management, field construction, civil works
Handling of design and construction issues
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
AutoCAD or AutoDesk
Has strong verbal and written communications skills both in English and Tagalog
