The Fleet Procurement Associate will be assigned to our trucking arm, Lalamove Logistics, and will be responsible for the procurement of 3PL providers who are willing to partner with Lalamove.
What you'll do: Procurement Associate is responsible for evaluating suppliers and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that vendors are compliance with accreditation requirements. Handles Outsourcing of Trucks and any Logistics needed by the team. Contract renewal and ensuring the best buy thru proper bidding process Accreditation of Vendors Determine if Inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, sourcing more units when necessary Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management What we seek: Someone with a strong network of trucking companies who is willing to work for a start-up company What you'll need: 1-2 years of fleet procurement / vendor management experience Experience in traditional logistics is a plus Must be good with data and keeping track of inventory Must be willing to work in the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) To all candidates- Lalamove respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
