Job Summary:AECOM is seeking a Junior Auditor (Auditor I) to join our Audit Services Group (ASG). This position is based in our GBS Philippines office. AECOM is responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of AECOM’s systems of internal controls that guide company activities toward accomplishing key business objectives.
The primary responsibilities of the Junior Auditor (Auditor I) will be to drive follow up remediation of outstanding audit findings, monitoring and collecting data within our issue remediation process. Additional responsibilities may include assisting the data analytics team in their data management process to request, capture, transfer, transform and prepare client data for analysis.
Job Duties:+ Drive the follow up remediation of outstanding audit findings, monitoring and collecting data within our issue tracker.
+ Preparation of quarterly issue aging reports and managing that communication process.
+ Assisting the data analytics team in their data management process to request, capture, transfer, transform and prepare client data for analysis.
+ Perform basic audit activities related to SOX 404 control testing.
+ Perform assigned duties in an effort to ensure timely completion of work and maintenance of established performance standards.
+ Build and support partnerships with key stakeholders, while maintaining independence and objectivity.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:+ A degree in accounting, management accounting, accounting technology, financial management, information systems and other related fields.
+ Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
+ Must have mature judgment and good administrative and organizational skills.
+ Basic understanding of working with remote desktop protocols and Office 365 & MS Sharepoint file shares.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Working towards professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA) are desirable
+ Fluency in English is required; fluency in additional languages is desirable
+ Knowledge of various data analytics tools (i.e. Alteryx, PowerBI) is preferable.
