Junior Architect

Position: Junior ArchitectJob Overview:A Junior Architect typically assist and supports senior architect or a lead designer in various stage of architectural project.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssisting in the development of architectural plans and designs.Brainstorming ideas for projectsCompleting drawingsHelping coordinate details for projectsSubmitting documents such as drawings, proposals and paperworkCommunicating with contractors about the status of a projectCollaborating with senior architects on project conceptsCreating and presenting architectural proposalDrafting architecture plansCommunicating with clients to gather requirements, answer questions and keep them current on the project statusAssisting with the preparation of project budgets and timelinesReviewing and analyzing project specifications and requirementsCoordinating with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholdersPerforming site visit to monitor construction progressAssist with the selection of materials and finishesUtilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for drafting and modelingAssisting in the preparation of project proposals and contractsConducting building envelope analysis and designRequired Skills and Qualifications:Professional architectural license and or if not license, an experience of at least 2 years related work is required.Male or FemaleProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural softwareStrong understanding of building codes and regulationsTime management skills to meet project deadlinesAbility to create and maintain project documentationKnowledge of architectural drafting standardsCreativity and innovative thinking in design conceptsTime management skills to meet project deadlines
