Java Support Analyst

Short Description- This role is responsible for understanding the code and the ability to design technical solutions and provide optimal solutions for the core problems, code fixes, data adjustments, diagnose and fix operational issues.- Qualifications- Core Java- Web Services SOAP/REST- Linux, Putty, WINSCP- Spring Framework & Spring Boot- Hibernate, JPA- JMS (Java Message Service)- XML, JSON- Jenkins, Maven- Service Oriented Architecture / Microservices- Red Hat JBoss Fuse (Fabric and Karaf), AMQ (Broker)- Junit- GIT, Bitbucket- Hands-on experience using tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, developing Synthetic monitoring scripts- Ready to support Application sin 24x7 model, which includes on-call support- Position is for Prod Support and enhancement project where resource will be working on SLA measured tickets as well as development /enhancement of exiting/new functionalities- Resource should have prior hands on working experience in prod support environment and agree to work on prod support project- Resource should be flexible to work in AU hours / weekend /holiday on P1/P2 issues/critical issues as per project need ; he will be eligible for comp off/allowance as per CG policy for such scenario- Job Responsibilities- Responsible for maximizing system uptime and availability, ensuring functional and performance SLAs- Review code developed by junior resources- Mentor junior team members- Responsible for establishing and maintaining end-to-end monitoring and alerting on all critical aspects to ensure SLAs and get proactive notifications of possible issues for all systems- Initiate and lead scripting and automation to streamline system updates and upgrades- Work with operations team to resolve trouble tickets, developing and running scripts, and troubleshooting- Manage offshore technical team
