It Support Engineer

Job Description:
Provide routine checkup of network connectivity of all users Manage incidents, problems, requests fulfillment (service, change, and request for information) Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and recovery for hardware/software problems and concerns of all users Configure and set-up newly acquired desktops/laptops. Performs general preventive maintenance tasks on PC, laptops, printers and any other IT peripherals and equipment. Returns defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory, documents repairs, maintains and restocks assigned parts inventory to insure proper spare parts levels Educate end-users on basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operation Has a sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and IT systems as well as business-related processes and procedures Generate detailed activity reports and documentation for every case. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Good written and spoken communication skills Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time that support the company’s and team’s objectives. Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate/undergraduate of any computer-related course (IT, ComSci, CoE) or graduate of technical/vocational course with relevance to computer servicing and network support (NC-II) Has background knowledge in providing technical support for hardware, software installation, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Has at least 3 years of accumulated technical experience Preferably someone who worked in Dell and/or other systems integrators as a field tech Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10 and Mac OS X Good understanding of all LAN/WAN protocols and other related technologies Someone who is comfortable in using Grammarly for Chrome
