Job Description:
Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for the IT category – technical procurement inclusive but not limited to the following: IT hardware, software, MS solution, connectivity, storage, call centre management Tools, IT contractor and consulting spend etc. Support VP procurement to establish and drive implementation of key results for procurement that create price advantage, supply availability and package innovation, including budget accountability. Measure and improve competitiveness in all IT spend areas. Work to cover 90% of regional IT spend with procurement initiatives, explore local IT spend with the view of building regional contracts if advantageous. Develop, implement and execute ZP global procurement strategies and programs specific to category spend areas. Develop, communicate and implement IT specific category strategies with the involvement of key stakeholders Execute within the procurement and ZP SOPs, whilst providing improvement towards the SOP on an annual basis. Establish and drive implementation of key results areas in procurement that create price advantage, supply availability, and innovation, including budget accountability. Measure and improve competitiveness in those spending areas. Build and manage supplier relationships to optimize cost competitiveness and drive continuous improvements in supplier quality performance through the implementation of Supplier Relationship Management tools (KPI Score Card, etc.). drive supplier consolidation where necessary Plan, manage and execute in a timely manner tender process, contract negotiations, development and execution activities. Lead on complex contract negotiations, own creation of commercial and pricing terms and schedules Uphold corporate responsibilities and business controls; actively ensure and maintain adherence to all ZP Policies, Procedures, standards and values, and quality commitments. SAP Ariba system channel strategy ownership for IT categories, including driving the use of E-Catalogues – maximize the utilization of SAP Ariba Minimum Qualifications:
At least 5 to 10 years of management experience in an associated industry, with strong experience in APAC Bachelor degree or masters preferably in procurement and/or supply chain related field. Professional knowledge of procurement practices, supply markets, terms, negotiation concepts, and business laws. Must have:
