Job Description

International Network Operations Center (INOC) Lead Engineer

Perform INOC duties as stated in the SEA-US JSMD, Globe-BSCC JSMD, FSM JSMD.
Performs the assigned shift routines and tasks.
Responsible to raise concerns that may arise in day-to-day operations (i.e. tools issue), to Team Leader (TL) and/or Manager-on-Duty (MoD).
Assures that tickets are handled/closed based on problem description and trouble reported and follows through until resolution and closure.
Collaborate and recommends solutions for Engineers' routine and/or task concerns.
Draft processes that needs updating/reengineering, discuss with Manager for approval before cascade.
Cascade of new/ updated in process, guidelines, work instructions and the like, to all INOC members.
Extracts all tickets and ensure completeness and accuracy of information for report generation and analysis.
Prepare system and operational performance reports.
Generates performance reports and raise to support teams any issue that requires their support.
Attends monthly and quarterly operational reviews and calls with customers.
Propose solutions for concerns on routines, tasks, and special cases.
Responsible for the team’s processes and escalation to their respective Manager.
Drives expertise downwards towards Engineer counterparts by conducting internal training/cascade.
Translates directives and strategies from the Manager into a detailed project/initiative.
Recommend and help in the development of project or tool/s needed by the team to support and effectively manage the day-to-day operations.
Coordinates/works with the support groups for the development or completion of the project or tool/s needed by the team.
Lead the day to day NOC operations and provide guidance to engineers.
Develop engineers through mentoring, shadowing, and by providing directions on a day to day tasks.
Monitor engineer performance and provide performance feedback to the manager.
Implement strategies and directions from the management team. Perform Site Admin tasks.
In the absence of a manager, act as manager on duty.
