The Role Work Details: Position Title: Instructional Designer Client: IT Consulting Company Job Type: Direct-hire, Full-time Employment Work Setup: 5x a week Report to Taguig; Night shift (8PM – 5AM) Salary: PHP 70-246,000 per month (negotiable to beyond the budget so long as required skillsets are met) As an Instructional Designer , you'll collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning gaps and design comprehensive instructional plans. You'll develop engaging content, integrating multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement across various platforms. Your role involves piloting and evaluating learning solutions, ensuring they meet objectives and are effective.
Responsibilities: Needs Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to identify knowledge and performance gaps, target audience characteristics, and desired learning outcomes. Curriculum Design: Create comprehensive instructional design plans that align with learning objectives, utilizing sound adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Gagne's Nine Events). Create measurable learning objectives. Content Development: Develop compelling learning content including e-learning modules, lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, simulations, and assessments. Multimedia Integration: Select and integrate appropriate multimedia elements (e.g., video, audio, graphics, animations) to enhance learner engagement. Ability to flex content to different learning styles. Pilot and Evaluation: Partner with SMEs to pilot learning solutions, collect feedback, and iterate on designs. Measure the effectiveness of training programs using appropriate evaluation methods. Project Management: Manage instructional design projects effectively, meet deadlines, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest instructional design trends, learning technologies, and best practices. Ideal Profile Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design and development (SA level). 5 to 10 years of experience in instructional design, development, and leadership/managerial roles (M level). Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles. Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Experience with Intellum and Evolve are a big plus. Experience with video and audio editing tools is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
