Infrastructure Investment Analyst/Associate

Job descriptionInfrastructure Investment Analyst/AssociateInfrastructure Investment Analyst/Associate is responsible for working through all stages of project management. The primary role is to work closely with project managers to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly. The Analyst monitor the progress of a project to ensure that it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports to managers. The Analyst shall make suggestions for improvements to project operations as needed. The Analyst report to project managers, country head and other upper-management personnel involved in particular projects. Job ResponsibilitiesWork duties will include assessment, implementation and ongoing management of investments in infrastructure projects that are under development, including but not limited to the following:1. Create and monitor progress against investment budgets 2. Create and monitor progress against project development schedules3. Create and update periodic reports4. Create and update investment overview presentations5. Assist with investment approval memoranda6. Analyze changing business environment, including:a. market research and analysis b. regulatory updatesc. risk identification and analysis7. Support investment and sell-down documentation negotiations and process8. Coordinate with partners, vendors and other team members9. Complete ad hoc administrative tasksWe expect the candidate to:· be passionate about infrastructure development in emerging markets (including renewable energy);· thrive while working independently;· have strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed;· have excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;· have extremely above average attention to detail;· possess a can-do attitude, high energy, and initiative;· have thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint (Microsoft Project working knowledge is a plus); andIdeal profile of candidate:· 1-3 years of experience in project development, investment/corporate banking, audit, private equity or a corporate firm with focus on the Energy or Infrastructure sectors· Willing to be assigned in Makati, Philippines and willing to do local travels on relatively short notice.· Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar disciplinesTo apply:Please provide an updated CV.
