Hr/Hse Assistant

Job DescriptionMaintain Material, Safety Data Sheets.2. Co-ordinate and maintain currency in training/induction records and compliance documentation.3. Maintain HSE and People and Culture policies and procedures in Kirby and provide advice to managers/supervisors as required.4. Undertake HR administrative activities associated with onboarding, employee records, contracts of employment, workers compensation, off-boarding.5. Assist with new initiatives and projects to drive business improvement.6. Live the company Values - Leads by example everyday through our actions, behaviours and decisions.7. Demonstrate compliance with client policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health andSafetyAUTHORITY TO MAKE DECISIONSIdentify the 3 priority decisions and recommendation required of this roleDecisions Expected- Adhere to compliance requirements.- Provide general HSE and People and Culture advice to employees and managers consistent with policy andprocedures.Recommendation Expected- Raise awareness for potential hazards and risks in the workplace.- Make recommendations on process improvements.Qualifications And RequirementsExperience and Knowledge- Minimum of 1 year experience- Good communication skills both written and verbal.- Strong attention to detail and basic analytical skills.- Exceptional time management skills- Proven ability to prioritise competing priorities and adapt to changeDesirable Experience and Knowledge- Previous experience in HSE/HR within a manufacturing organisation- Previous experience within Mining and Resources industry will be well regardedSoftware Knowledge RequirementsMS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel/Powerpoint) IntermediatePROBLEM SOLVINGResolves work problems by choosing between alternatives based on things learned, with some latitude to consider other options.
