HR Director position is to oversee and strategically manage all aspects of an organization's human resources functions. With the strong support of Corporate HR, the Business Unit HR Director plays a crucial role in aligning human resource strategies with the overall goals and objectives of the company. Strategic HR Planning: Developing and executing human resources strategies that align with the overall business objectives. This includes workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning to ensure the organization has the right people with the right skills at the right time. Talent Management and Development: Overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to training, development, and retention. This involves implementing talent management programs, performance management, and career development initiatives. Employee Relations and Engagement: Fostering positive employee relations, managing conflicts, and creating a workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction. This includes addressing employee concerns, conducting employee surveys, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall employee experience. Compliance and Legal Affairs: Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. This involves staying current with changes in legislation, mitigating legal risks, and establishing policies and procedures to maintain a legally sound and ethical work environment. Organizational Development and Change Management: Leading initiatives related to organizational development, change management, and cultural transformation. This involves facilitating change, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Leadership and Team Development: Building and leading an effective HR team, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the HR department. This also involves partnering with other organizational leaders to align HR strategies with overall business goals. Workforce Engagement Assist in employee selection, hiring, training, placement, movement, rewards, and recognition. Evaluate the performance of immediate reports on a regular basis. Ad Hoc: Perform other tasks that may be assigned either individually or as part of a committee.
