Job Description
Responsible for supervising and implementing Human Resource programs in the areas of recruitment, benefits administration, training and employee relations and ensures that these conform to laws and established company policies.
Recruitment
1. Sources and screens job applicants to fill vacancies within the company ensuring that shortlisted applicants possess the required competencies for the vacant position before forwarding to the Hiring Manager for further screening.
2. Prepares appointments, memos and other employment certificates ensuring that these documents are issued on time.
3. Develop programs to support hiring for today and tomorrow.
Compensation and Benefits Administration
1. Prepares timekeeping reports and payroll advisory that will be the basis of pay.
2. Provides relevant information and suggestions to management on compensation and benefits trends, issues and concerns.
3. Supervises the HR Admin assistant in benefits administration and timekeeping ensuring accurate implementation of the HR policies
Labor and Employee Relations
1. Assists the Team Leaders in the handling of disciplinary cases in their respective departments and ensure that actions taken should be in compliance with the labor laws.
2. Attends the scheduled meetings of the Labor Management Council. Acts as liaison between labor and management.
3. Supervises the implementation of various employee relations programs ensuring that the determined budget is efficiently utilized, the required procedures are followed, and identified objectives are met.
Performance Management
1. Ensures implementation of the Performance Management System at the site by monitoring the accomplishment of the PMS by all Team Leaders.
2. Collates, analyzes and submits results of the PMS at the site
Organizational Development
1. Identifies organizational and employee concerns and conceptualizes strategies to address these.
2. Conceptualizes various organizational development programs to ensure employee motivation.
3. Ensures effective implementation of organizational development programs
4. Conceptualizes, implements and evaluates continuous improvement programs for sales and other offices ensuring that program objectives are being met and realized.
Training Management
1. Closely coordinates with T&D Officer in developing the individual training plan of site employees.
2. Monitors the status of action plans resulting from training and ensures that these are implemented.
Qualifications
- Any 4-year course, preferably in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Communications, or equivalent
- At least 5years background/experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years solid experience in Organizational Development, Training/Learning & Development, and/or Talent Management
