Hearing Care Specialist

* Selects and administers tests to evaluate hearing or related disabilities* Trains clients to use hearing aids or other augmentative communication devices* Creates or modifies impressions for earmolds and hearing aid shells* Maintains or repairs hearing aids or other communication devices* Diagnoses and treats hearing or related disabilities under the direction of an Audiologist.* Performs basic screening procedures such as pure tone screening, otoacoustic screening, immittance screening, and screening of ear canal status using an otoscope.* Performs other job-related functions that may be assigned from time to time
