We are looking for a Head of BWF Sales Associate Director to start as soon as possible.
Job Requirements
Lead marketing partnership sales in China for BWF global flagship events (BWF World Championships & HSBC BWF World Tour)
Hit the annual marketing sales revenue targets
Define the target list and and go to market approach in order to achieve the objectives and expand the client's network
Build relationship with partner agencies to expand sales opportunities
Collaborate with marketing / business development teams to customize the sales packages and presentations to the specificities of the local market (assets, pricing)
Prepare proposals for clients including analysis of the client's business objectives, development of concept and storytelling, and customization of the assets according to the business needs
Pitch effectively the proposals to the clients, lead the negotiations and contractual discussions in coordination with the leadership and the legal team
Maintain an active sales pipeline of prospects
Participate and contribute to internal sales meetings
Ensure all contacts, meetings, and active proposals are reported into the global CRM system
Proactively identify and share key business trends in China (category-specific, sponsorship, etc..)
Requirements:
Advanced education (university bachelor's degree)
Successful track record selling sponsorship rights, media / digital advertising, marketing solutions / platforms in China; history of working for agencies a plus
Existing network of relationship with brands and agencies in China
Good knowledge of the sports marketing industry / best practices in China
Ability to work effectively in matrix organizations
Outstanding business development, pitching, presentation and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to build relationship with senior executives
Team player, highly motivated, committed and driven to achieve results
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Language: Chinese & English
