Graphic Designer: Pre-Press Specialist

Job Description Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
At least 3?Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
Job Description:
Receive digital artwork from clients and convert into negative film for printing press use
Monitor quality of printing press run and make adjustments as necessary
Organize and maintain all digital artwork and negative films produced to ensure latest revisions are used and old ones are filed and stored.
Maintain negative film printer in good working condition; Communicate any issues
Job Requirements:
? Expert knowledge of all printing processes (litho / flex / digital / rotogravure / silkscreen) retouching, GMG profiling.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is a must.
? Proficient in mixed end-user environments including PC Macintosh;
? Proficient in Illustrator ad Photoshop operations, able to build or amend packaging digital files efficiently and accurately as per project briefs;
? Able to understand and follow corporate or clients brand guidelines and operate within printing limitations.
? Knowledgeable of Esko Automation workflows and GMG would be an advantage. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Creates and QC digital artwork, following client and printer.
