ICU Medical Philippines is a subsidiary of ICU Medical and has a great opportunity for a graduate to start their career in the medical devices industry. The successful candidate will perform on-site installation, testing, preventive maintenance inspection, corrective and remedial actions on ICU Medical's infusion devices.
We have an opportunity for a graduate to join our Service team and complete given service task ensuring adherence to corporate standards on medical device’s safety, performance, & reliability. This includes, collecting customer’s product experience report, completing associated service record for each serviced device, meeting stringent reporting timelines, and ensuring accuracy of data.
The right candidate must be willing to travel to reach customer sites and must be able to work under minimal supervision.
Primary responsibilities include:
Execute work with focus in compliance with corporate standard on health, safety, quality and reliability.
Perform on-site service activities on ICU MEDICAL Plum family of infusion pumps ensuring safe and reliable device performance, and in-house break/fix activities. Activity includes device decontamination & cleaning.
Ensuring compliance of test equipment & control of inventories needed in the completion of activities.
Ensuring completion of required quality inspection, performance verification tests records, and customer product experience reports – in accordance with established corporate processes, standards and requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in: Biomedical / Electromechanical / Electronic / Computer / Electrical Engineering
Certification: TESDA NC-II in Biomedical Equipment Servicing is an advantage.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Computer proficiency is a must. Basic computer skills and understanding of computer networks and equipment interfacing is an advantage.
Driving skills and possess valid driver’s license is an advantage.
Must be efficient and highly organized as the job requires traveling/mobility and demands high degree of concern on personal and patient’s health and safety and environmental impact of the activity.
Must possess the attribute of “check and balance” to make sound judgment ensuring the condition and performance of infusion device ensuring patient safety.
