Full Stack Web Developer

Position: Full Stack DeveloperNumber of hours: 20 hours/weekSchedule: MST, Flexible HoursTasks required:Develop and maintain E-commerce websites, plugins, and themes, specifically for ShopifyOptimize websites for performance, security, and scalabilityDesigning user interactions on web pagesDeveloping back-end website applicationsCreating servers and databases for functionalityEnsuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones and responsiveness of applicationsWorking alongside graphic designers for web design featuresSeeing through a project from conception to finished productDesigning and developing APIsPerform website administration tasks such as plugin configuration, product management, set up email campaigns, content and loading and othersMeeting both technical and consumer needsStaying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languagesTroubleshoot and debug websites to ensure that they are running smoothlyOther ad hoc tasks that might be assignedRequirements:At least 3 years of work experience as a Web developer or relevant experienceKnowledge in web programmingStrong knowledge of website architecture and plugin developmentSolid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practicesExcellent knowledge with E-commerce platforms such as ShopifyHands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytical toolsAggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skillStrong problem-solving and organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumenAbility to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
