RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sustainably design, code, document, test and support the maintenance of the code for core PMS and other interfacing platforms.
Must have solid knowledge of design patterns and love writing code that is appropriately reusable and extensible.
You are highly skilled in developing solutions based on sound architectures and understand how to work optimally with APIs for mobile solutions.
Have a solid experience working on multi-threaded application development and bring solid experience with performance tuning and memory management
You are a mentor and contributor to the development of best practice technical standards and capabilities and you foster a culture of collaboration within the team and across the business.
Deliver high quality solutions and maintain best practices in agile software engineering such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, pair programming, and code reviews.
Continually deliver work that raises the engineering quality bar and guards against incurring undue technical debt.
REQUIREMENTS
Design overall architecture and development of the Platform Management System.
Experience with NodeJS
Good grasp of MVC Frameworks and how to architect and develop them
Excellent English Communication Skills (verbal and written)
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
Maintain code integrity and organization.
Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
Highly experienced with back-end programming language (ex. PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, Javascript, etc.)
Proficient experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc.
Development experience for both mobile and desktop.
Understanding of server-side languages including such-as Jade, EJS, Jinja, etc.
Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Got, Mercurial, or SVN.
Analytical mind with a sense for algorithmic problem solving and selecting the right data structures for the job at hand.
Deep experience working in Agile and test-driven development environments.
