ABOUT US: The Ortus Club is a B2B marketing company based in Singapore specialised in virtual and in-person knowledge-sharing discussions. We run approximately 60 events a month globally, helping our clients create environments to start meaningful business relationships. Some of the clients we've worked with include SAP, Google, Adobe, Zendesk, Microsoft, Meta, PayPal, and Microsoft.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: In the role of Founder's Associate (Marketing), you'll collaborate closely with our founders, gaining firsthand experience in overseeing a thriving marketing team and engaging in the essential daily tasks pivotal to its success. From overseeing branding strategies to navigating the realms of social media and SEO, you'll delve into the intricacies of team management, ensuring its continual growth, while actively contributing to market expansion, business development, and the crafting of overall marketing strategy. This role is ideal for proactive problem-solvers with stellar interpersonal and analytical skills, this opportunity also appeals to those with a passion for travel and cultural exploration. WORK SETUP: This role begins with a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with our co-founders in our Rome (Italy) office (3-4 months). Following this, you'll journey with them to our vibrant Manila (Philippines) office, where you'll continue to work closely with our operations team (4-6 months). Your journey then transitions into a pivotal role, as you become an integral part of our management team, contributing directly to our company's growth and success with a specific focus on operations. Relocation assistance will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Dive into the intricacies of marketing strategy by shadowing and learning from our seasoned marketing team Work closely with the founders to understand the overarching marketing goals and objectives of The Ortus Club Engage in strategic discussions at a high level while also immersing yourself in day-to-day marketing activities Take on diverse responsibilities within the operations department, learning from key figures integral to The Ortus Club Provide support to the founders in executing marketing-related initiatives and activities as required QUALIFICATIONS: Display a strong enthusiasm for acquiring insights and expertise through mentorship and practical involvement in marketing initiatives. Ability to actively participate in strategic marketing discussions at a senior level, while also adeptly handling routine marketing activities. Demonstrate proficiency in recognizing marketing challenges, analysing market situations, and devising creative solutions to surmount obstacles effectively.
