Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Fleet Manager on behalf of a Food FMCG company based in Navotas, Manila. The role will directly report to the Senior Operations Manager and will be responsible for all areas relating to operations (dispatch, delivery, etc.) and services (maintenance, registration, route planning, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental policies. Monitor fleet performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with internal departments to meet operational needs and support business objectives. Oversee vehicle scheduling, routing, and dispatching to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Establish preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan. Collaborate with maintenance staff and external service providers to perform timely repairs and inspections. Monitor maintenance schedules, warranty claims, and repair costs to control expenses. Implement quality control measures to maintain fleet reliability and safety standards. Develop and manage budgets for fleet operations, maintenance, and services. Identify cost-saving opportunities through fuel efficiency initiatives, vendor negotiations, and process improvements. Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and take corrective actions as necessary to meet financial targets. Recruit, train, and supervise fleet personnel, including drivers, mechanics, and administrative staff. Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the team. Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to enhance employee productivity and morale. Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to optimize fleet utilization, routing efficiency, and driver performance. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge Qualifications:
Must be Bachelor's/College Degree holder preferably in business, logistics & supply chain, Industrial engineering. Minimum of five (5) years working experience in Logistics and Fleet vehicle maintenance and utilization management. Knowledge/expertise in route planning is a must Knowledge/expertise on internal and external trucking services is a must At least 5 years leadership experience is a must Knowledge in using ERP Software such as NetSuite, Oracle and SAP is an advantage Excellent communication, presentation and customer-service skills
