We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.This role is part of the Americas Finance team responsible for Financial Reporting, Close & Consolidate and Interface Reconciliations for NAM.**Core responsibilities include**:- Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the US GAAP reporting and all the associated procedures associated with this. This includes but is not limited to 'Onestream' reporting to the consolidation team, cross process activity such as annual journal threshold compliance and BSAR criticality / completeness checks and monitoring the overall closes process- Responsible for overseeing close status, coordination reporting for CFMs, creating financial reporting submissions and close packages- Ensuring that interfaces between systems are accurate and complete. Focus is on source to target reconciliations and resolving with stakeholders IT and Master data issues and ensuring that unresolved issues at quarter end are appropriately accounted for.- Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements- Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope- Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas- Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities- Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy- Internally recruit, mentor, and drive the individual Process SMEs to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach- Influence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing them in line with global standards**Compliance**- Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities- Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate / prevent breach- Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings**Leadership and People Management**- Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Credo-based team- Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team- Ensure effective performance management within team- Lead Accounting team of 5+**Travel**- Up to 10-20% international travel**Qualifications** Qualifications**:- A minimum of a bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are preferred**Languages**:- Fluent English, other language skills desirable Fluent English- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English**Experience and Skills Required**:- At least 4 years of professional experience is required- At least 2 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels- Strong Analytical Skills- Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies- Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO- Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach- Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines- Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel**Other**:- Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assignedJohnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
