Financial Masterdata Accountant

Job Description:
Johnson and Johnson International Singapore Pte Ltd is recruiting for a Financial Masterdata Accountant, located in Paranaque, Philippines.
The Regional Financial Master Analyst is primarily responsible to perform day to day operations of Financial Master Data team which includes maintenance of GL Accounts, Profit Center, Cost Center, Internal Order, Exchange Rate and Standard Cost in line with Global DTP and defined standards, preparation of reports, resolution of errors and issues, participation in projects and identification of continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Master Data Maintenance
Process and perform maintenance of financial master data requests such as GL Accounts, Profit Center, Cost Center, Internal Order, Exchange Rate and Standard Cost
Ensure master data are in line with Global Desktop Procedures (DTP) and defined data standards before being processed
Participate in global, regional or local projects or initiatives

Reporting
Prepare control reports as defined by J&J control requirements
Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed

Continuous Improvement
Identify, initiate and execute opportunities for continuous process improvements.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Education:
Undergraduate degree related to Accounting, Finance or Information Technology

Experience and Skills:
Required:
1 to 3 years’ experience in general accounting, master data or financial systems operations preferably from a shared service of a multinational corporation
Have an understanding of different financial processes involved in Account to Report (ATR), Requisition to Pay (R2P) and Invoice to Cash (ITC)
Experience in SAP ERP FI/CO module is required
Strong organizational and time management skills in a high-volume environment
Strong attention to details
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Results and performance driven with bias for action & sense of urgency on priorities.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional and cross-sector teams

Preferred:
Experience in, FDW, Cognos or TM1 and other business applications such as CONCUR, Blackline and ARIBA is a plus
