As a Project Finance Staff,
You will a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of projects within Smartsourcing. Your primary responsibility is to support the project finance team in analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on the financial performance.
Some of the things we expect you to do are to: Assisting in developing project budgets and forecasts by closely collaborating with project managers and stakeholders. This involves accurately estimating costs to ensure effective planning Monitoring project expenses, tracking actual costs against budgeted amounts, and promptly identifying any cost overruns or deviations Preparing and submitting regular expense liquidation reports to the accounting and finance department, facilitating fund requests as needed Ensuring compliance with internal policies, and contractual obligations throughout the entire project lifecycle Collaborating with various departments, such as project management, procurement, legal, and accounting, to ensure seamless financial coordination and alignment across all project activities Tracking and monitoring supplies to ensure adequate availability and efficient utilization throughout the project duration Requirements We would need you to be or have the following: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in finance, project finance, or a related role Adept at Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of project finance principles and practices is a plus Benefits Be a part of the Smartsourcing crew ????!
