SUMMARY: Responsible for leading the finance and accounting activities for ENGIE Impact Philippines
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for financial and accounting processes including Record to Report, Budgeting, Payroll, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Treasury Management Manage finance team members including hiring, training, coaching and reviewing performance Manage all statutory requirements for the entity including monthly and annual tax and compliance reporting Plan and oversee the delivery of the audited financial statements and the annual income tax return in coordination with external providers Maintain strict compliance with PEZA, BOI and BIR requirements concerning taxation, incentives and reporting Maintain the ERP system and ensure the quality of accounting data through the review of journal entries and preparation of account reconciliations Maintain fixed assets accounting ledger including acquisition, depreciation and disposal of assets Prepare financial reports for management including financial statements, analysis and forecasts Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA license preferred Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record managing accounting teams, systems and processes Previous experience with PEZA and BOI compliance Working knowledge of Philippine tax and payroll laws, regulations and reporting Proficiency in accounting software; experience with SAP B1 a plus Skills/Abilities: Well organized, both in focus on daily activities and work output People-focused; supports a culture of caring and trust with employees Analytical problem solving with strong attention to detail Strong ability to initiate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects Uncompromising ethics and urge to challenge the status quo for continuous improvement Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint) Excellent written and oral communication skills WORK ENVIRONMENT Typical office environment. Minimal noise or other outside distractions Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with overtime expected during busy periods Office based position for initial onboarding period (up to 6 months) that will transition to a hybrid model (3 days per week in office) Office location is either Makati City or Mabalacat, Pampanga REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES Typical office environment. Limited bending, stooping, or lifting. Able to sit and use a computer for a long period of time Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard and handle paper documents Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
