JOB PURPOSE
Mainly supervising and managing the PH SSC office finance staff
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS The primary indicator will be:
• Duties performed within strict timelines
• Assist the team to stay on top of No Backlog
• Supervise and manager SSC PH Finance Team Secondary indicators will include:
• Accuracy of completion of duties
• Clear, concise communications internally & externally
JOB DUTIES Lead and manage the PH SSC Finance staff by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individuals, and monitor progress towards achieving them. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial transactions and records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize efficiencies, and enhance the quality and timeliness of financial services and support. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of financial operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, business units, and senior management, to understand their requirements and priorities, and deliver timely and relevant financial information and analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulatory authorities, and vendors, to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth interactions. Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies, and communicate updates and changes to the finance team as necessary. Identify and assess financial risks, and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial integrity and reputation of the organization. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred. Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or shared services roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in financial reporting, analysis, and controls. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proven track record of driving process improvements, managing change, and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to commute/relocate in Angeles City, Pampanga
