Job Specifications:•Proficient in MS Office Suite applications •At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar industry
•Knowledge of SAP and ARIBA software is preferred
•Bachelor’s Degree of any Finance or Engineering field
Scope: Reporting directly to the Project Manager, Environmental in the headquarters (Columbia, Maryland, US), the Remediation Administrator/Finance Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of different Remediation Project reports required for internal stakeholder reporting and management of key activities at remediation sites. He will be providing any support required by the Global EHS Function; and works closely with the different EHS Project Managers and the Remediation Team to carry out his mandate.
Key Responsibilities:•Manages the requirements (e.g., obtain consultant proposal, initiate purchase requisition, review and comment on draft deliverables, and evaluates monthly the sufficiency of budgets/reserves and provides financial projections of cashflows) for certain remediation site activities, initially related to routine monitoring and reporting obligations
•Updates spend and cash flow templates for the new year
•Prepares monthly cash flows and spend charts to be distributed to the different project managers to be used in their projections
•Consolidates cash flow and spend projections from the different project managers
•Prepare and maintain project status reports to be used by Remediation, Finance, Leadership and other stakeholders
•Solicits safety hours from the different project managers and major contractors to be used in the preparation of the monthly safety hour reporting
•Submits purchase requisitions for the Remediation Team to ARIBA, the Purchasing Tool of the company
•Provides financial data requested by the different Project Managers and the Remediation Team
•Reviews, develops and updates standard operating procedures for the reports he is responsible for
•Manage the requisition of financial assurance instruments at the request of the Project Managers or Company' Legal
•Other duties and projects assigned by the Project Manager, Environmental
