Determine variables for cost and other estimates. Read, analyze, or use construction plans to prepare takeoffs and estimates. Pull a comprehensive estimation of labor costs, materials, and construction timeline. Obtain and review pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers). Purchase of materials and Quantity Surveying. General project and contract administration support as required. Perform other related duties as required. The Requirements: Experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor or similar role. Knowledge of Excel and/or other estimating software. Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or other design software is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Outstanding organization and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Thorough and reliable, possess a positive attitude, and capable of taking on challenges and achieving results.
