Position Purpose
Engineering Making & Packing Technology Manager manages Global Engineering projects in the area of Make/Pack with regards to new equipment and machine modifications and new technologies covering technical and commercial considerations, identifies opportunities for best technical solution.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute and follow-up Global Engineering projects in the area of Making/Packing, OTP with regard to machine modifications, new installations, new technologies, replacements and specification alterations while securing adherence to project deadlines and budgets
Develop and/or contribute to Engineering studies to fulfil R&D, Manufacturing and Market requests
Support and collaborate in development of annual and strategic machine plans
Provide support in engineering-related Integration Projects
Qualifications & Experience
University degree (bachelor or higher) with focus on Engineering
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in making and packing technology area, ideally in an international environment
Hands-on experience of maintenance and repair of production facilities combined with economic skills
Skills, Competencies & Language
Sound experience in project planning and implementation
Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of global interconnections
Very good communication skills
Spirit of teamwork and flexibility to cooperate in a multinational environment
Solid knowledge of software applications, mainly MS office applications, intermiediate SAP and AutoCAD would be considered as an asset
Willingness to travel
Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written, additional language as a plus
