I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Reviews all preliminary reports including advance planning studies for the project. Proper shoulder widths, traffic and falseworks clearances, approach slab status and adequate stream flow and scour provisions must be verified prior to the developing the General Plan. Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates. Investigates statement reports which appear uneconomical or inconsistent with policies. Reviews locations of existing utilities for possible conflict and relocation. Assists management for reviewing entire project for continuity and completeness. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements and Development or any related course. Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions. Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Supervises project staff. May delegate supervision for portion of work. II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Educational Requirement: Must be a graduate and a licensed Civil Engineer. Experience Requirements: Previous construction, casino, or hotel maintenance department supervisory or management experience Knowledge in Retail Construction and Operation is a plus Technical Skills: Demonstrate knowledge in civil engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, budgeting, employee supervision and personnel management. Proficient in MS Project and MS Office Applications Other Qualifications: Good telephone manner and customer service focus Ability to work on overtime when needed. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Tagalog Good health, physically fit and excellence in personal grooming and presentation He or she should be competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and smaller projects, and have excellent written and oral communication skills He must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
