SUMMARY OF JOB:The main duty of an Electrical Technician is to provide assistance in all electrical-relatedmatters for the production departmentDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Below are some, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities of an Electrical Technician:1. Conducts set up and operation of test equipment for evaluation of performance, assembly,or system, under simulated operating conditions2. Records results of the conducted equipment testing3. Provides technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems areencountered before, during and/or after construction4. Repairs and replaces defective components in motors, generators, controllers, storagebatteries, switchboards, conductors, switches and various electrical fixtures5. Dismantles motors and generators6. Handles maintenance, troubleshooting or repair of electrical instrument and/or testingequipment7. Conducts inspections and testing on machineries and equipment8. Analyses and interprets test results on machineries and equipment9. Creates reports on findings and recommendations based on the analysis andinterpretation of test results10. Creates service report for submission to supervisor11. Assist in promoting company's services to prospects and potential clientsQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/orability required.1. Graduate of any 4-year or vocational course related to the field2. Has acquired certification/license from PRC and/or TESDA related to the field3. Knowledgeable on the use of computer and computer applications such as MS Office,etc.4. Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills5. Experience related to the field is not necessary, but an advantage6. Organized and Systematic7. Can work with minimal or no supervision from supervisor8. Flexible and willing to work beyond working hours9. Critical thinker and has excellent decision-making skills
