Electrical Technician (1 Year Project In Davao)

Job Description:
The Electrical Technician installs, maintains and repairs electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.


Installs, maintains and repairs electrical instruments, equipment and fixtures: power plant electrical circuits, motors, generators, transformers, lights, appliances, breakers, protective relays and switch gears in compliance with electrical codes, standards or regulations.

Diagnoses electrical malfunctions using electrical test equipment and tools to determine the cause of the malfunction. Trouble shoots to correct the problem or recommends appropriate corrective action.

Studies electrical plans and specifications to determine correct installation and/or repairs.

Inspects regularly electrical systems, equipment and fixtures to identify hazards, defects, and items for adjustment, repair or replacement.

Plans for the availability of spare parts to ensure continuing operations.

Calibrates electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic instruments.

Minimum Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a power plant or heavy industry. Technical training in electrical repair and maintenance. Accreditation as Electrician preferred.
