Electrical Commodity Manager

Job Description:
Establish and implement strategies for negotiating commodity purchase agreements based on in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets for pricing and terms most favorable to the company Develop and execute Local and Global commodity strategies/agreements Maintain a detailed understanding of supplier capabilities, industry trends, market conditions, and technologies Establish and ensure achievement of all performance metrics for assigned Suppliers and Commodities Ensure company and regulatory policy compliance Manage Accounts Payable Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/College degree in Engineering, Business or any related field 8 to 10 years of progressive relevant experience, preferably within a high-tech environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient in the use of major ERP systems, such as Oracle and SAP Extensive experience developing global contracts and a leading role in negotiations, and the required analysis Knowledgeable in computer hardware, associated supply chain software and systems, and communication devices Outstanding negotiation skills Ability to deliver and manage complex programs, cross-functional business /capability, development, and change initiatives Ability to think globally/strategically, turn information into effective strategies that drive results Strong interpersonal skills Experience working in a highly complex, technical environment Must be willing to travel as required
