Job Qualifications
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Sanitary Engineering or any related course Must be a Safety Officer 3 With a minimum of 3 years relevant experience Has a working knowledge of workplace safety and existing government regulations Knowledgeable in Pollution Control Management Has the ability to maintain effective work relationships With good oral and written communication skills With excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills Proficient in driving (with valid driver's license) Work closely with the EHS Officer in monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety Ensures that the Site Safety and Health Plan is prepared and implemented Develops and implements safety policies to help employers reduce accident-related costs and prevent losses due to a decline in productivity Conducts safety training and compliance with the federal Occupational Safety & Health Administration, commonly known as OSHA Attends to the requirements of establishment or agency prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of necessary pollution permits and renewal thereof Monitors activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities with the end in view of ensuring their compliance with the air, noise and water quality standard In-charge of monitoring the wastewater treatment facility Assist the EHS Officer in the preparation and submission of Quarterly Self-Monitoring and Semi-annual & Annual Compliance Monitoring Report Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
