General summary 1. Guides faculty and staff in utilizing technology to enhance instruction and student outcomes
2. Helps in the team's overall effort in the maintenance and operation of educational technology tools for a smooth user experience
Major duties ? Provides end-user support, management and administration of learning and collaborative technologies(LMS, SIS, etc), accessible technology support, and classroom and conferencing technology
? Serves as the highest level of problem escalation for teaching and learning tools
? Assists faculty with designing and developing education materials by matching learning outcomes and teaching strategies with technology solutions
? Develops and implements faculty and staff training, consulting, and related support for instructional technologies
? Prepares and develop training materials for the school's supported teaching and learning tools
? Conducts research to evaluate the use of new technologies and their impact on student learning outcomes. Collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to identify, analyze, explore, and meet LAI's teaching and learning technology needs
? Works with vendors to resolve issues with learning and collaborative technologies
? Collaborates with instructional designers, accessibility and compliance specialists, and faculty assistants to make LAI's technology hub a one-stop resource for faculty services
Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or similar disciplines; Other degrees considered if with experience
? New graduates are open to apply or with 1-2 years of experience
? Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
? Have customer service acumen
? Knowledge of educational research technology, design, and implementation is a plus
