Credit And Collection Manager

Job Description:
You will develop and administer credit and collection programs. You will oversee investigation of credit risk in customers and ensure the collection of amounts due to EcoSci Food. You will design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. You will manage the credit and collection team and you will report to top management.


Key Responsibilities Create and implement strategies to collect timely and accurately Deliver the target percentage overdue Oversee the collection of overdue invoices to minimize losses and risks Ensure company processes and policies are followed Sets payment policies Establish relationships with customers for good communication and payment performance Review and seek approval for Credit Applications based on financial background of customers Schedule Monday to Saturday Learning Opportunities You will learn about the frozen food industry and be able to build your network of restaurateurs, caterers and distributors You will learn about frozen seafood and meat items You will develop leadership & negotiation skills that will be useful in any industry You will work closely with all departments, giving you access to learn end-to-end processes You will have full accountability of growing your function, enabling you to have a great sense of fulfillment and ownership Minimum Qualifications:
You posses at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent. You have at least 5 years of related work experience You have excellent planning, communication, critical thinking, coordination and leadership skills You are a good listener and a strong negotiator You are influential, charismatic and persistent You are structured, diligent, reliable, resourceful and results-oriented You are highly motivated, self-driven and disciplined You are proficient in Excel and Word Preferred Qualifications You are proficient in Quickbooks.
