Cpa Accountant

We provide bookkeeping and accountancy/tax services for UK clients.We are looking for a highly motivated CPA to join our team in Davao City. You will be responsible for taking clients jobs from reconciliation stage through to final accounts. This will include VAT, management accounts production and corporation tax.We do not expect you to have any experience of UK accounts or tax, but to be willing to learn.You will ultimately be expected to suggest ways of making the jobs more efficient, and learn and advise clients on tax efficienciesYou will work directly under a British accountant based here in DavaoThe job is mostly on a Work From Home basis, but the successful applicants must be prepared to work in Obrero, Davao City at least one day per weekTo excel in this position you must be:- A qualified CPA, this is non-negotiable- An independent thinker who can spot problems and solve them, rather than just following instructions- Willing to study the UK tax rules - online lectures and materials are available, but research will also be required- Very good at spoken and written English- Confident but carefulIdeally we are looking for someone with 1-3 years experience in public practice or external audit, preferably reaching Senior Audit Associate**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: Php26,000.00 - Php28,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Health insurance- Opportunities for promotion- Promotion to permanent employee- Work from homeSchedule:- 8 hour shift- Day shift- Flexible shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:- 13th month salary- Performance bonus**Experience**:- External Audit/Public Practice: 1 year (preferred)License/Certification:- CPA (required)
