A. JOB OBJECTIVES
1. To ensure that the total company’s plans and objectives are translated into working the budget that is accurate, realistic, and comprehensive.
2. Provide management with reliable and accurate product costing/production variance a report in order to make pricing decision so as to achieve the company’s profitability objective
3. Design and devise useful key performance indicators that help management driving factory cost efficiencies.
4. Perform sensitivity analysis on product costing and gross margin for major fluctuations in foreign exchange rate or raw material prices
5. Partner the relevant department in checking factory variance report (raw and packaging materials, semi-finished goods) and ensure corrective actions taken.
6. Ensure timely submission of accurate factory financial statements, variance analysis report and cost center report (related to production, QA, and Engineering)
7. Ensure co-packing rates are reviewed and validated.
8. Review contracts and costing of OEM suppliers
9. Ensure tight control and reconciliation of Raw Material, Packaging, Finished Good and Spare part inventory.
B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare, analyze and ensure the accuracy of the Standard cost budget
2. Ensure that the Standard cost budget is aligned with the overall company’s plans and objective
3. Prepare, analyze and summarized the product cost for the actual monthly book closing
4. Prepare and ensure the correctness of selling price calculations for local and export sales channel
5. Prepare and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all other requests for costing simulations
6. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly reports submitted to Accounting and Logistics
7. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of factory variance report and monitor that corrective actions are taken.
8. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of Cost Centre report has been submitted to Engineering, Production, QA.
9. Coordinate with Factory planner, production manager, and monitor factory machine utilization (factory capacity), product overweight, machine downtime, etc
10. Participate and review detailed costing in price negotiation with co-packers and co-manufacturers
11. Compute/ validate feasibility studies and/ or cost savings initiatives as requested
12. Monitor major fluctuations/ movement of the foreign exchange rate and raw material prices on product gross profit margin
13. Ensure internal controls are in place and being implemented
14. Ensure the accuracy of factory/ costing data in SAP and updated in a timely manner.
15. Ensure the monthly manufacturing costing is closed accurately and on time.
16. Prepare annual budgeting related to production and engineering
17. Advise Senior accounting manager on the issue related to inventory
18. Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
