ACCOUNTABILITIES

Costing Method

Establish Standard Costing applicable to Manufacturing of Steel.

Review all the Procedures and Standards pertaining to Allocation,
Distribution, Measures and Standard Unit of Measures
Receipts and Issuances

Maintains cost record of Raw Materials, Importation/Freight In Cost, Operating Supplies like Consumables, Maintenance, Tools & Other Warehouse Supplies.

Reconciles cost records of Raw Materials, Consumables and Warehouse Supplies with ERP - GL balances
Production, Shipments, Reclassifications and Adjustments

Verifies the balances between Actual Plant Production versus Production Report Summary reflected in ERP – LN.

Reconcile balances of Ship out items per Warehouse versus the Total Quantities being Sold per Summary of Sales Invoice reported
Quantify Total Production related to Recovery, Class A/Class B and Scrap.

Measures the relative cost of each reclassification and adjustment.
Cost & Cost Determinants

Scrutinize all Cost and Cost Driver per Activity

Assures that all Factory Overhead Cost, both Variable and Fixed
Overhead has been properly recorded, depreciated, allocated per
Cost Center, per Department and per Activity.

Proper Matching of all related factory overhead/expenses on a timely basis considering the accruals of expenses, recorded when incurred plus deferred factory charges.

Accurate measures in allocating/distributing all the factory charges to determine the Predetermined Rate or Unit cost per sku.

Review of Standard Cost & Transferred Price on a Quarterly basis or when needed

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Preferably a graduate of BS Mathematics or Industrial Engineering

Preferably with at least 2 years experience in costing; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Ability to handle confidential information in discreet and professional manner.

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

People-oriented /keen eye on details, accuracy is imperative / excellent monitoring and coordination skill / Team player and have the ability to work independently and meet deadline.
