The client specialise in providing the Insurance and Strata industries with quality building, repair, restoration and emergency response services for both residential and commercial properties in Australia. They offer an honest, professional and integrated approach to all aspects of building, construction and restoration with their top priority focusing on customer satisfaction.
From fires and floods to storms and other unfortunate events, their team are trained and experienced in all aspects of building repair and recovery. They work closely with Loss Adjusters, Insurers and Property Managers to make safe and restore properties to their original state – if not better. Each job covers estimating and procurement to project management services and construction.
About the role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Contracts Administrator has authority for the efficient management of project financial and administration matters. These activities will include, tendering, documentation control, administering subcontractors and the head contract, submission of progress claims, variations, extension of time claims, and authorisation of payment of accounts. The Contract Administrator is charged with the responsibility for managing the project budget, and preparation of specific management system processes, including WHS, Environmental, and Quality Control procedures. Key Tasks/Responsibilities: Head Contract Project Construction Methodology Subcontractor Management Project Administration Project Staff Project Procedure Plans Design Neighbours Project Completion Qualifications: Trade/engineering/technical background Familiarity to project systems such as Procore, Cheops, Data Build, Timberline, Build Tools Australian experience is a must Role Requirements: Confidentiality Leadership Compliant with Company policies and procedures Organisation/time management WHS compliance Administration of contractor's ability to read and understand field guidelines and construction manuals Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, Power Point and Projects) Reliability Previous experience in construction industry Good understanding of commercial and domestic construction industry Advanced leadership skills What you'll get Permanent and full-time #WorkFromHome
