Construction Estimator

Description Job Title: Construction Estimator Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm US Central Time Salary Range: $******** USD/Month Location: Fully Remote Responsibilities Generate material and quantity takeoffs from architectural plans created in 2D AutoCAD or Revit. Prepare accurate material and quantity takeoffs, ensuring clarity and completeness of information. Communicate effectively with clients to address any missing or inaccurate information on the plans. Utilize drafting skills in both 2D CAD and 3D CAD software such as Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences. Support the sales team by providing detailed estimates and technical support. Assist in coordinating project timelines and deliverables. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Background in architectural drafting and construction estimation. Proficiency in 2D CAD and 3D CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Previous experience working in an Architecture firm, Engineering firm, Commercial Construction firm, or Building Material Manufacturing firm preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material and quantity takeoff calculations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of industry standards and construction processes. Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management. Note: This role is remote and requires the candidate to work closely with the sales team to provide support and assistance in project estimation and coordination.
