Cold Storage Technician

Monitors room temperature and parameters (includes electrical and mechanical) of refrigeration units. Accomplishes on a daily basis, the CLALC Daily Equipment Performance Monitoring form. Affixes signature on "1st Shift" or "2nd Shift", whichever is applicable.If there are abnormalities observed in the units, conducts trouble-shooting (electrical and refrigeration, change oil, replace filters) and repair works. Ensures that all units are in good condition during the day.Inspects daily lighting of cold storage, tenant and main site offices. Weekly checking and cleaning, if necessary, of aircon units. Indicates all work accomplished in a blue logbook.Conducts quarterly preventive maintenance – cleaning condenser, evaporator and re-tighten all electrical terminals of the refrigeration units.Accomplishes the Cold Storage Routine/Scheduled Preventive Maintenance quarterly report, for all PMS work done.Energizes the power generator on a weekly basis. Checks engine oil, radiator, crude oil and parameters of the generator. If there are abnormalities, conducts trouble-shooting and repairs on the genset (electrical only). Mechanical issues are referred to the Fleet Dept with approval of Engineering Supervisor and Engineering and Maintenance Manager.Accomplishes the Power Genset – Weekly Exercise report with all pertinent information.Conducts installation work for refrigeration and air-conditioning units, when needed.Maintaining/filing of daily, weekly and quarterly reports and daily logbook.Acts as a responsible representative of the Company to its Clients and Customers.Ensure that your duties and responsibilities as CS Technician are met.Performs other duties and responsibilities inherent in the position as CS Technician and all other tasks which may be assigned from time to time by his immediate superior.
